Owns the entire project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
Monitors and manages project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure project stays on track for assigned client projects. Drives implementations of high-quality cloud solutions.
Acts as primary day-to-day point of contact for the client and the operational aspects of the project. Objective focused on building strong customer relationships, helping project team to achieve an 8 or greater out of 10 on satisfaction surveys.
Facilitates or co-leads with customer project manager regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
Generates and distributes timely status reports, time usage reports, and expense reports weekly.
Manages risks and issue tracking throughout the project.
Adhere’s to the Appirio Way Methodology and utilizes a project site to track all risks, issues and general communication plans for the project. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Implements and adheres to a change management plan, utilizing the Appirio Way Methodology.
Assists consultant team members in the delivery of client presentations during requirements, design, pilot and user acceptance testing sessions. Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before sharing with the client.
Contributes in at least one area of domain expertise (in addition to project management) such as business analysis, Agile development practices, Salesforce cloud offerings, Google apps, Workday or PSE.
Understands the Cloud Computing market. Can articulate the core benefits of Cloud Computing solutions, and understands basic implementation methodologies associated with Cloud solutionsProvides mentoring, guidance and general care and feeding to project team members, including offshore team members.
Travels to client site as required. (may be up to 50%)
Contributes beyond the current engagement, functioning as leader within the organization. Examples may include being a COE lead or subject matter expert, Community leader, or Silver Lining lead.
Participates actively in Discussions, contributes to the wiki, contributes to the Appirio Cloudsourcing Library for Force.com (ACLF), sponsors new employees, and presents Cool Code at Lunch and/or Continuing Ed sessions.
Provides presales support such as change orders for your current engagements as requested.
Achieves published company utilization targets.
Brings 5+ years project and 2+ years management experience with packaged software or custom development implementations.
Brings experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, Peoplesoft, NetSuite, etc.), Messaging software (Google, Exchange, Lotus Notes), or Financial/HR software (Workday, Peoplesoft, SAP, etc.)
