This role will be responsible for planning & executing projects as well as managing deadlines & budgets. You will be a member of the Project Solutions team working closely with both Corporate and Business groups to ensure the successful execution of security solutions related projects with an initial focus in the Privileged Identity Management (PIM) initiatives. This role provides a great opportunity to interact globally across the expansive breadth of GE businesses.
Partner with technology thought leaders to successfully implement key IT Risk initiatives and ensure cross business and internal teams are properly aligned throughout the project
Manage projects to ensure dates and commitments are met by effectively working collaboratively with other corporate teams as well as GE business
Work with Project Solutions team and technical service owners to develop / maintain a standard full-scale project execution process
Help build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of projects
Develop schedules and project plans to ensure timely completion to project deadlines – includes looking for scope changes, critical path items, identifying dependencies, etc.
Ensure that standards (e.g. compliance), processes and documentation are followed for all projects
Proactively identify project issues and risks and work with the project team for timely resolutions and tracking
Prepare project communications and documentation including executive briefings, project tollgate deliverables, weekly status reports, blog postings, etc. to set proper expectations with various stakeholders
Assist with Proof-of-Concept testing (POC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed
Ensure successful transition of project deliverables to support / maintenance / operations teams
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 4 years of project management experience with large enterprise-class applications or information security services
