As a Senior Proposal Manager for tw telecom , we are looking for someone who functions as hands-on lead to ensure execution of and response to multiple, concurrent proposals for large business customers across all product lines. Manages composition, editing, review, assembly, and final proposal bid response document for customer presentation. Is accountable for execution and delivery of comprehensive RFP response and MSAs.

In the areas of Project Management / Strategic Direction you will
Analyzes RF requirements, actively participating in bid/no-bid decision and developing response strategy with Account Manager.
Directs cross-functional team to provide independent responses that adhere to strategy and tone, contacting, directing, and managing responses across all departments.
Leads kickoff and document review meetings.
Provides guidance to proposal contributors and subcontractors.
Communicates proposal-related requirements and status; escalates with senior management, as appropriate.
Defines and project manages proposal/response schedule, remaining current on all amendments and modifications to solicitation
In Content Development / Positioning you will
Take ownership of proposal content and development process to ensure compliance with customer requirements and company policies.
Writes proposal/marketing narrative as appropriate.
Leverages and re-uses existing proposal boilerplate information
In Production, Assembly and Shipping you will
Leads/participates in producing, assembling, and shipping physical document response to solicitation within specifications and on deadline.
Ensures quality, accuracy, and compliance with all technical and business requirements of customer solicitations
In Project Management of MSAs and other contracts you will
Analyzes contract requirements.
Project manages internal contractual issues with SMEs and sales function.
Works with Legal Department on final customer redline.
Communicates company position to various organizations (i.e., sales, customer, etc.).
In Leadership you will
Provides guidance and leadership to other proposal managers and proposal support staff.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience
Qualified candidates will have at least:
Strategic and tactical proposal management, business development, contract negotiations, and/or sales support
People and project management
Telecommunications products, technology, and industry
Word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of automated RFP management tools desired.
