The Senior Research Manager and Research Manager roles at Affinnova are high profile positions with an increasing span-of-control and client responsibility as our patented technology enables clients to directly access sophisticated capabilities.
(Senior) Research Managers function in two critical roles (1) managing a cross-functional team while supporting Research Directors in more complex engagements and (2) working directly with our sales team to manage more streamlined projects and client expectations. Key responsibilities include shaping the research methodology and project input development as well as managing a cross-functional team on multiple, simultaneous projects. Specific responsibilities include:
Leading clients and the internal cross-functional team through the execution of successful projects that are on-time and of highest quality from client kickoff to results delivery
Working with Research Directors to identify and solve for complexities associated with study methodology, client input development, fielding and reporting
Working with clients and sales team to ensure successful introduction and adoption of our web application (Concept Studio)
Coordinating and effectively communicating across functions including Design, Analytics and Development
Developing and mentoring junior staff members
Working with product innovation to identify and implement product and process improvements in all areas of Research Operations
Director of Research Operations
4+ years of supplier side marketing research experience, or masters level education in relevant field (MBA or Marketing Research) and 4+ years of work experience
Project management working in a team environment
Presentation skills and direct client interaction
Deep understanding of data analysis and how to turn data into actionable insights
Ability to analyze a problem and create a solution
Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
