Responsible for experience transfer and best practice within reservoir engineering for US onshore, based on cross-asset learning and cooperation with the Process Owner for Petec & IOR in TPD
  • Coordinates production forecasting and reserve update for the UON Assets in cooperation with TPD F&C CRM (Corporate Reserve Management) and Process Owner Petec & IOR, in order to ensure consistency, quality and compliance
  • Responsible for improving the reservoir engineering IT tool portfolio to ensure that it's supports efficient, and our fit for purpose work process, based on cross-asset learning and close cooperation with the Process Owner for Petec & IOR in TPD
  • Provides input to technology plan development within reservoir engineering (e.g. maximising recovery, optimise well spacing and well design, identifying key parameters effecting EUR) based on broad understanding of cross-asset needs and knowledge of industry capabilities
  • Provide QA/QC support to assets - peer reviews, peer assists, risk assessments, technical reviews
  • Develops, coordinates, and/or supervises pilot projects for introduction of newly identified or developed technologies in cooperation with UON Assets and RDI
  • Provides technical support, as requested/required for reservoir engineering tasks. Fills in as vacation relief, as requested, for the assets
  • Provides input to the graduate program development for reservoir engineers, and support their early career development
  • Qualifications
    • Master's degree/ PhD or equivalent level
    • Minimum seven year’s experience in Oil and Gas Industry
    • Broad experience within reservoir geology
    • Field development
    • Reservoir management and drainage strategy optimization
    • Reservoir simulation
    • IOR studies
    • Production forecasting
    • Well planning
    • Good understanding of the reservoir engineers role in the different petroleum technology deliveries
    • Hands-on experience from our standard reservoir engineering IT tools
    • Onshore experience is desirable
