Major global consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Architect with strong .NET, C# and SharePoint full life cycle development experience. Must be a very Sr. SharePoint Architect with SharePoint 2007 and 2010, ASP .NET, MS BI Stack, OOD skills, Agile Methodologies, TFS, N-tier architecture, etc.

Engage with the sales team and prospects to understand their needs then craft and appropriate response. Will play a central role in the complete SharePoint solutions life cycle including sales, design, development and delivery of engagements. Using advanced presentation skills, the Sr. SharePoint Architect will be able to gain consensus, build confidence and translate complex technical topics to audiences with a range of technical sophistication. Requirements:
Expert knowledge of software engineering concepts full life cycle projects from solution definition through development, implementation and rollout. Proven expertise in devising SharePoint solutions that is part of larger enterprise wide integrated architecture. Prior management and direct supervisory experience with a history of mentoring. Must possess a deep technical and architectural understanding of all aspects of MS SharePoint platform solutions for both 2007 and 2010. Expert knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack. Must possess a deep technical and architectural understanding of all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions for both 2007 and 2010. Must have hands-on experience and capabilities for developing and deploying customized SharePoint solutions. Advanced knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Social Networking, Enterprise Content Management and/or Business Process and Forms. Knowledge in leveraging Microsoft's suite of technologies for providing Business Intelligence solutions such as Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services, PerformancePoint, and PowerPivot. Experience in designing, developing and testing client applications as part of software development cycle using an Agile development approach. Experience with service oriented design. Ability to develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts for client evaluation. .NET Framework/C#/Experience with the SharePoint object model. Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and implementation using the .NET Framework, C#, WCF, and JavaScript. Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) Web development experience using ASP.NET Web Forms and/or ASP.NET MVC. Proven ability to team with Project Managers and Architects to communicate progress and risks with client personnel for purposes of decision making. Experience in application life cycle management systems such as Team Foundation Server. Strong understanding and experience in implementing QA procedures (code review, estimating, acceptance criteria, etc.) as they relate to SharePoint solutions. Experience with server installation, deployment models, performance tuning and enterprise scalability. Proven ability to identify, recommend and implement third party solutions, plug-ins and custom web parts. Demonstrated ability to stay current with Application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, architectural and systems engineering industry trends. Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (eg MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree) required. 7+ years of experience designing, building and deploying enterprise solutions with Microsoft technologies. Significant portion of above experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company. SharePoint related certifications (2007 or 2010) a plus.
