Senior Sales Executive – Mobile App Targeted Advertising Solutions Apsalar is looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Executive to join our rapidly growing, top tier team. As our Senior Sales Executive, you will report to our CRO and be responsible for building a pipeline, responding to incoming leads and selling targeted mobile app advertising solutions to major mobile app advertisers. You will also oversee the day-to-day up-sell and management of app targeted advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for directly signing key clients for Apsalar’s unique suite of mobile app targeting solutions: (in-app targeting through in house ads) and (3 rd party app retargeting through inventory partners). You will have proven experience in targeted advertising solutions selling within the online advertising market. Strong knowledge of market dynamics and strong industry contacts, as well as knowledge of the online ad tech landscape and its key players will be a distinct advantage.

You will be responsible for all elements of the sale from initial call through to contract signing, including in depth, technical product demonstrations as well as the ongoing strategic support of key clients through campaign delivery. The role will involve meeting and signing mobile advertisers and agencies as well as acting as an ambassador for Apsalar in the mobile app community to ensure Apsalar is front of mind with all key prospects and new clients.

As a part of a well knit, cohesive Sales and Client Success team, you will work closely and collaboratively with Apsalar’s Client Success, Business Development, and Product teams to close new accounts and deliver on excellent customer service, ad conversion volume and industry leading mobile app advertiser CTRs, CPAs and CPIs. You will play a key role in driving revenue and implementing strategies for driving ongoing client product needs. You will also be responsible for educating mobile app advertisers and agencies about all aspects of our next generation tools and how they can be leveraged to solve their goals and objectives.

Required Skills:
  • Strong consultative and strategic sales skills as well as relationship building skills at C-level and with top spending online marketers and advertisers
  • Self-starter, independent and capable of thriving in a startup environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop a pipeline of clients from scratch and be highly organized
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills and a proven record of closing contracts within a certain timeframe
  • Ability to partner with Client Success team and other internal groups to provide the best customer experience for our clients through campaign delivery
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Passion for mobile app industry and performance based advertising
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with top performing track record in selling online advertising solutions directly to advertisers, including at least 1 year selling retargeting solutions or online audience targeting solutions
  • Strong understanding of the online ad tech landscape and players
  • Good understanding of current mobile advertising technologies and landscape
Desired Education:
  • BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record or relevant combination of education and experience
