Responsibilities:

This position will create and grow and advertising channel for the Performing Arts.

BLOUIN ARTINFO offers theaters, film companies and performing art venues more opportunities than any other site to promote themselves to a global, cultural audience.

Experience in ad sales to the Performing Arts is preferred. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and closing new business, meeting a sales quota, and managing an existing account base.

The Sales Director will gain knowledge of prospective and existing clients' business goals and sell BLOUIN ARTINFO as a solution to achieve those goals. BLOUIN ARTINFO products include Online Banner Advertising, Editorial Sponsorships; Virtual Sites, Newsletter Sponsorships, Social Media and Custom Email campaigns, and more.

The Senior Sales Executive will work with Client Services and Ad Operations teams to create and execute ad campaigns successfully, and report results to clients, internally to the SVP, and upper management.

Qualities:

The Senior Sales Executive will be motivated, with a proven sales track record, organized, and a good communicator. They will be a quick learner, a team player with a positive attitude, and be able to work independently as well as with other departments.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• At least 3 years sales experience in the performing arts ad sales
• Track record meeting or exceeding sales quotas
• Online sales experience a plus
• Strategic sales approach with a focus on building relationships with top tier clients
• 4 year college degree required
• Experience with Excel, and database management
• Must be customer focused and demonstrate solid communications, networking and negotiating skills
Compensation includes base monthly fee plus commission, commensurate with experience.
