The senior sales manager is responsible for managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by soliciting past and new business. Requirements include a minimum of three to five years of hotel sales experience, the ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees and clients at all levels of the organization, the ability to meet/exceed client needs and resolve complaints, and a solid understanding of hotel operations. Experience making sales presentations, negotiating with senior decision makers, and utilizing automated sales systems are also needed.
