Our Senior Sales Marketing/Development Manager will work directly with the national sales and account management teams to help maximize advertising revenue associated with his/her assigned product network and assigned sellers. The Senior Sales Development Manager will launch new ad packages, developing custom proposals for clients/agencies, and maintaining the vast library of necessary sales materials to aid our remote sales teams. In addition, this senior level manager is responsible for the strategic development of that product area to drive scalability and efficiency beyond the current fiscal year. This includes, but will not be limited to, market research, positioning and pricing strategies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide daily support to assigned sellers in order to achieve their sales quotas by network and by retailer partner for the current fiscal year.
Mine, analyze, and integrate media planning & research data into proposals as needed.
Develop compelling collateral and presentations through high quality written communication.
Develop and own the positioning of your assigned product network including the integration of any necessary research studies or industry metrics.
Provide sales insight and general support to the retailer account directors and executives.
Conduct pricing, utilization and yield analyses as required.
Facilitate all necessary training sessions with sales for material pertinent to your assigned product network.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
7+ years experience in sales support, retail marketing, digital advertising or media
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize amongst multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong sense of ownership, project management skills, and a clear focus on business results with a demonstrated ability and desire to support a sales team.
Advanced skill level in presentation and graphic applications such as MS Powerpoint, Keynote and Adobe Photoshop.
Experienced with research tools such as MRI, Kantar and Allocate.
Strong writing, persuasive selling and positioning skills.
Team mentality and disciplined work ethic mandatory.
BS or BA degree required, MBA a plus.
