This senior position will advise and support enterprise collaboration for the central Information Technology organization of a Federal department. Collaboration throughout the Department is based heavily on SharePoint, Groove, and supporting products. The SharePoint SME:
Provides high-level subject matter expertise on enterprise collaboration in general, and collaboration using SharePoint in particular
Applies advanced technical knowledge on collaboration solutions to analyze specialized applications and operational environments
Advises on functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and systems implementation to resolve complex problems
Principal place of performance for this role will be in Washington, DC, with the potential for limited work at other sites in the metropolitan DC area.
US citizenship required. Minimum of current Secret clearance; ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance required
Deep understanding of Microsoft environments, expert-level knowledge of SharePoint architecture required
Demonstrated broad experience with complex, full life-cycle SharePoint implementations, preferably on an enterprise-wide scale
Prior experience with Federal government enterprise systems required.
Bachelor's degree in IT or other related field desired; Master¿s or higher degree preferred
10 years or more professional experience preferred; minimum of 5 years experience with enterprise-level SharePoint required
Relevant certifications strongly preferred (e.g., MCITP, ITIL Foundation)
