The person will utilize business, problem solving, data mining, and analysis skills to develop key strategic quantitative analysis for the Global Digital Marketing team. Analysis will generally be complex in nature, where large volumes of data are synthesized into actionable recommendations using SQL tools, analysis software (SAS), Web Analytic Tools (e.g. Omniture Site Catalyst)
and various statistical techniques. In addition to delivering new business insights through execution of analytic projects, this role will be responsible for providing ongoing strategic guidance and recommendations to the Digital Marketing team.
Manage analytical process to effectively deliver timely, insightful and actionable analyses in support of digital marketing team. Interface with internal clients to understand requests, prioritize, and set clear expectations
Conduct timely and accurate reporting on various digital marketing channels
Support team by serving as an individual contributor in delivering analyses
Enhance current reporting tools and develop new tools needed to support the increasing digital landscape
4+ years of experience in conducting highly quantitative analytics
At least 2+ years experience in advanced SQL with a strong understanding of data warehouse architecture
Experience with SAS, SPSS, or other Statistical Coding Package
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Economics, Business or other related field
Masters Degree in quantitative field
Knowledge of various data mining techniques to generate business insight
Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills as well as demonstrated skills in fact based analysis, including the ability to persuasively present insights and recommendations to senior management
Strong ability to identify business issues, formulate plans to resolve these issues, and effectively communicate the results to senior management
Project oriented, pro-active, and self-motivated work style with proven ability to supervise and manage effectively multiple projects and changing priorities in an extremely fast paced environment and constantly deliver superior results within given deadlines
Internet marketing experience preferred. Knowledge of Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, affiliate networks, shopping sites, email, as well as standard industry practices
Knowledge of internet analytics packages preferred (e.g. Omniture Site Catalyst, Coremetrics, Google Analytics, etc.)
