We currently have a position opening for a Senior Strategist to work out of our office in downtown New York City. This is an ideal role for an individual who may have developed offline plans for sports related accounts and or a sports enthusiast. The following are the responsibilities and duties of the Strategist. This is not an all-inclusive list and will vary by account assignment.

Position Responsibilities *

Execution of a media plan *

Gauge media performance to confirm original objectives and strategies were met *

Work with Internal Research teams to make sure that all elements of success are being utilized (aka Brand Tracking, ROI) *

Maintain budget control, develop media schedules and monitoring buys/schedules *

Update team on status of all client projects *

Study demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences *

Handle any client requests

- i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information * Meet with media sales reps and industry representatives on a regular basis to pursue ideas that are strategically aligned with the client's business Position Requirements * Bachelors degree in Advertising, Media Studies or Communication and possess: * 2+ years of experience in the field of media * Knowledge of the principles of advertising, marketing and media * Knowledge of the dynamics of media - how each media element performs alone, how they perform together, and how they are constantly changing *

Knowledge of all aspects of Media/Communications Planning, including TV/Radio, Print, OOH, etc. *

Fluency in mathematical concepts *

Ability to translate data into well-articulated ideas *

Ability to understand media data sources in terms of what is measured, the method, and information reported
