Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Accounts, the successful candidate provides superior customer service to students, families, and staff with inquiries on the student account. Ensures that all payment plans established with Tuition Management Systems are coded appropriately, have correct budgets and are in good standing. Manage, apply and reconcile health insurance and tuition insurance to all students that meet the enrollment requirements. Assist in the yearly student tax form 1098T preparation and assist students and families with questions pertaining to the information provided by the University. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
The candidate will also be expected to provide back up to the Student Account Counselors during peak periods, as well as assist with University check-in and open houses
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
One year of work experience in higher education, preferably in a customer service environment.
Accounts receivable experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both written and verbal.
