Responsibilities
  • Work with HR Line and relevant stakeholders to identify business analytics requirements and drive report design/ analytics
  • Design, build and automate key HR metrics, measurements and reports in collaboration with stakeholders and business leaders
  • Provide back-up support as required to HR Technology Teams
  • Work with Tier 1 support teams providing ongoing training and Reporting education
  • Provide subject matter expertise related to Workday and Data Warehouse queries and reports, including the following activities:
  • Develop specifications and document requirements for complex queries
  • Provide advisory services on types of HR data that can mined and merged
  • Work with HRIT to develop and run complex queries or reports
  • Support and execute testing of new queries
  • Monitor the use of on-line and automated reports to determine continued usefulness
  • Prepare statutory reports for all regions
  • Maintain automated report distributions
  • Maintain scheduled reporting runs
  • Support reporting training
  • Respond to Leadership, HRBP and other user requests for a variety of on-demand human resources reports which may include:
  • Employee counts
  • Data for trend analysis
  • Workforce distribution
  • System audit reports
  • Other ad hoc requests as needed
  • Perform periodic audits of data entered into HR systems. Ensure report results are consistent, reliable and accurate.
  • Collaborate across teams, geographies, and organizational levels to develop solutions
  • Compare Yahoo! Talent metrics against relevant industry benchmarks and identify key areas for improvement
  • Communicate insights to key stakeholders, including c-suite executive management, and influence these teams to take action based on your recommendations

Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in information technology, human resources, business administration, or related field. Equivalent experience may be accepted
  • Three to Five (3-5) years of Workday / reporting experience
  • Experience writing technical reports
  • Knowledge and familiarity with HR policies, systems to develop and implement division processes and standards
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats
  • Ability to maintain consistent service levels as identified
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle varying workloads with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive employee information
  • Strong PPT and Excel skills, including ability to use indirects, array formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Highly analytical, strong interest in using data and metrics to uncover insights and drive business performance
  • Highly flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization
  • Great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports & data analysis
  • Proactive, organized, detail oriented, and quality driven

Preferred Qualifications
  • 7 + years of progressive corporate work experience working with HRIS systems, reporting, data, metrics, statistics software and developing analysis
  • Analytical experience in consulting, sales operations, talent acquisition, or related fields. Familiarity with Taleo, BI tools, etc.
  • Experience in delivering technology solutions to multiple disciplines within HR (compensation, performance management, organizational effectiveness, mobility, talent acquisition)
  • Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses and findings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent organizational and program management skills
