The Senior Technical Writer is responsible for researching, planning, organizing, and writing Design History File deliverables. This position combines knowledge and strong communication skills with technical expertise to generate and maintain development documentation for Medical Devices hardware, software, and chemistry products.
The incumbent acquires and organizes all source material by interviewing subject matter experts and observing engineers/scientists running the product. This person will effectively interpret detailed information and present it in the appropriate manner, drive projects from scheduling and planning, content development and management, and draft reviews through final edit, approval, and release.
The ideal candidate will exercise judgment within technical writing practices and policies by selecting methods, techniques, and technologies to support the documentation processes. Excellent grammar, editing, organization, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills are a must.
The Senior Technical Writer will understand the concepts of the required deliverables for the Design History File and will be able to incorporate them into effective and compliant quality records. The position involves coordination of the layout and organization of product requirements and traceability to testing. This person will be responsible for summarizing testing outcome by gathering information from electronic and manual logs, gathering anomalies reported, and formulating purpose and overview for Test Summary Reports.

Bachelor's degree in field with 5+ years experience.
