If you have at least 2,000 hours working as a Line staff implementing programs based on ABA principles and have at least a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Human Services, or related field then you are eligible for a Senior Therapist Staff member position with our clinic.
Senior Staff members are responsible for running autism treatment programs in the client's home, progressing programs and training line workers in the Marinette County area.
DUTIES
Developing client specific therapeutic treatment plans based on appropriate assessments and developmental guidelines.
Developing in conjunction with supervisory staff and caregivers, programs appropriate to the current and future needs of the clients.
Completing appropriate assessments and probing new targets
Developing programming: creating new programs, moving targets forward, making procedural changes if needed, preparing program materials etc.
Supervising line staff in the implementation of programs and behavioral intervention procedures.
Designing, implementing, and teaching line staff to implement behavior observation systems, support plans, and behavior intervention guidelines.
Consulting with line staff, care givers, and supervisory staff to ensure that programming is adequate to meet the needs of the client.
Evaluating and providing feedback for line staff to ensure quality and consistency across clinical programs.
Analyzing program data to ensure appropriate progress and effectiveness.
Coordinating the collection, summarization, and analysis of data related to individual program goals and behavioral plans.
Participating in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss case progress, address line staff and care giver concerns, review individual program plans, and recommend revisions as necessary.
Assisting supervisory staff when requested to instruct staff and to ensure orientation of new staff to the policies and procedures of the company.
Providing verbal, written and graphic communication for internal and external review.
Consulting with supervisory staff to ensure the provision of effective and efficient service delivery.
Extending skills in and knowledge of Behavior Analysis through participation in continuing education and workshops.
Communicating with parents, guardians, or other caregivers concerning behavioral and educational programming.
Provide initial and ongoing training for line staff.
Developing monthly progress notes, reviewing clinical documentation of line staff, and updating treatment plans.
Maintaining strict confidentiality of clients
Attending weekly clinic meetings
Caseload will be up to 9 clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Human Services, or related field
Must have at least 2,000 hours working as a line staff implementing programs based on ABA principles or your application will not be considered.
Must have a valid Driver's License and dependable transportation.
Must pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check.
This position includes evening hours and training requirements to include a senior internship of varied length based on field training performance
