Senior Usability Engineer
Job Description: Responsible for usability testing and design of products (hardware or software) in support of end users' needs. Provides usability support to product development teams by performing heuristic evaluation, cognitive walkthroughs and task analysis. Compiles, analyses and documents test results. Proposes conceptual designs and modifications to existing products for enhancements/features. Establishes usability standards and best practices during product development to ensure optimal user experience.

Intel is looking for a senior Usability professional to work on various initiatives and programs. Your job is to comprehend the overall targets of a product, ranging from user experience to business planning, and to define usability goals and plan and carry out usability assessment activities. You will work together with designers, architects, product planners, market researchers and the products can vary from phones and tablets to Ultrabooks and AIOs. You must master user data gathering and usability evaluation methods ranging from usability testing in lab settings to expert evaluations and field studies. You need to be comfortable to work in the fuzzy phases of early planning as well as highly structured execution phase. Minimum Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience defining usability metrics and related targets and validating products against those
5+ years of experience with a broad range of user data-gathering, usability-evaluation and data-analysis techniques
5+ years of experience with both qualitative and quantitative assessment methods
Bachelor's degree in HCI or a related field with at least 5 years of experience working in different parts of the product lifecycle
