Description : The Project/Program manager will be responsible for all aspects of technical project and program management. Projects and programs are typically high value long term strategic projects that involve new and/or enhancing technology, are highly complex and require tight coordination and integration with multiple organizations and suppliers. PM t akes technical projects from original concept through final implementation. Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations including Local RF markets and outside suppliers/vendors. Recommends and takes action to direct problem analysis resolution.

Key Roles and Responsibilities : Conducts end to end project management of multiple large projects and may also manage sub components of a large program. Leads cross functional teams to complete projects or program deliverables within allotted timeline and budget. Identifies key internal/external stakeholders necessary for project completion and develops overall strategy for executive of high value projects. Defines project scope and objectives, guides activities of a project/program team including delegating tasks to team members, identifies resources and establishes master timeline for deliverables. Projects/programs are very complex in nature, rarely follow a repeatable framework, typically span multiple business units or are company-wide and require a high level of analysis to create project/program plans for new concept projects/programs. Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project(s) across the entire organization. Able to develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports. Conducts project/program meetings and is responsible for project/program tracking and analysis. Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of major problems. Communicate to client/vendors/leadership.

The Project / Program manager acts as a liaison between various teams requiring coordination of these resources. Candidate will be responsible for managing project, budget, schedule, communication, deliverables, risks and progress reporting.
Additional Responsibilities:
·
Lead day to day project and program control of a multi-location/function team
·
Contribute to ongoing development efforts and coordinate multiple stakeholder participation for the overall project / program.
·
Work with key members of various departments to identify and resolve issues and/or enhancements.
·
Work with cross-functional teams on strategic initiative and improvements.
·
Provide input for production related issues
·
Interact closely with Local RF/RAN markets and National teams
·
Proactively identify new opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the program (increase revenue, increase conversion rate, increase service utilization and quality)
·
Must be able to identify and manage project related issues and risks.
·
Able to identify Risk and build a risk mitigation plan
·
Ability to work occasional weekends and varied schedule.
·
7/24 on call availability for resolving high severity issues during network changes.
·
Understanding of Finance and Economic Analysis
·
Knowledge with contract administration
·
Understanding in Wireless Engineering Principles and RF technology
·
Understanding of Network Equipment/Architecture systems and Operations
·
Expertise in Program and Project Management Experience
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
·
5 – 8 years experience
·
Program/Project Management Experience with GSM/UMTS/LTE
·
Experience with Contract / Vendor Administration
·
Experience leading multiple small to medium sized projects and technical breadth.
·
Experience with working with Cross functional Team
·
Experience with Contract management, SOW and RFP
·
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Desired Qualifications:
·
Understanding of Wireless Engineering Principles
·
Understanding of the UMTS Network Architecture
·
RF experience
·
Experience with UMTS Vendor equipment
·
Six Sigma, PMP Certified or PE
·
Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point and MS Project.
