The purpose of this position is to complete duties assigned to provide accurate, timely food service to meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. To maintain dietary equipment in a safe, sanitary manner.
Follow oral and written directions.
Present plated meals to residents in accordance with their order and in a timely manner.
Serve and bus tables as assigned.
Pour beverages as per residents request.
Clean work area and assigned service area.
Assist in the proper care, use and cleaning of serving and applicable kitchen equipment.
Attend in-service training programs for Culinary Service employees.
Observe infection control procedures related to the Dietary Department.
Follow facility safety program.
Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
Assume accountability for data contained in the employees' handbook.
Perform other related duties as directed by his/her supervisor or Executive Director.
Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner.
Observe infection control procedures.
Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times.
Observe all facility policies and procedures.
Come to work clean and wearing a neatly pressed approved uniform and nametag.
Deal with Residents and/or their sponsors in a respectful manner when addressing complaints or concerns.
