DESCRIPTION

Works with customers, in person or on the phone, in concert with shop personnel to maximize sales opportunities, schedule work into the shop, and provide excellent customer service by performing the essential duties and responsibilities.

DUTIES

Communicates with the customer to determine concerns, problems or needs while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. Matches customer needs with product and service offerings and proposes solutions.Uses technical background to act as a liaison between customers and shop personnel to determine work to be performed, quote prices and credit terms and obtain authorization to proceed.Performs vehicle check-in and conduct an initial vehicle inspection. Completes work orders and process customer payments.Builds and maintains customers relationships.Makes sales calls to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and sell products and services.Works with outside sales representatives to fill customer needs, keep customer commitments and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

A. degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and parts manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers and/or fellow employees of the company in a professional manner Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, mark-up and gross margins.
