IMG - a rapidly growing business with a 25-year history providing information technology (IT) and information assurance (IA) services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Service Desk Technician at its Linthicum, MD location.
The purpose of the Service Desk Technician is to provide information system solutions and technical support in one or more areas including personal computer/client server support, systems programming, applications design and development, database design and administration, telecommunications and network support and administration.
Windows 2000/XP operating systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills with various hardware and software applications. (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, IE, Netscape, etc.)
High level of expertise with Active Directory administrations.
Must be able to utilize SMS to remotely troubleshoot desktop systems.
Must have a solid knowledge of utilizing TCP/IP in LAN environment.
Must understand DOD security policies and procedures.
Clearance Required: TS/SCI (Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information) required prior to consideration.
Certifications Required: DOD 8570.01M Compliance Required Prior to Consideration.
IAT - II (CompTIA Security+) and MCP
Education and Years of Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience or 6 years of experience.
