The DCSE/Aniline business at the Beaumont site has a need
for a Site Contract Administrator/Construction Engineer. The person in this role will be responsible for leading the
capital and contracting support processes for the plant site. As well as ensuring that work plans and
activities are aligned with business needs. They will also be accountable for
the field implementation of the site capital and plant support contracts
including safety, cost, schedule and quality performance. They will typically
manage multiple projects totaling between USD $10MM and $50MM.

Other Duties &

Responsibilities:
Maintaining
overall responsibility and accountability for the Site Contracting Process as
well as ensuring that the roles and responsibilities of all personnel
performing contract administration are clearly defined, communicated, and
executed.

Managing and leading efforts to continuously improve the site
capital program.

Assuring
that all necessary bid package documents (drawings, site conditions,
specifications, schedules, etc) are assembled, and include the appropriate
Special Conditions including Global Safety, Health, & Environmental (SHE) Standards
and Engineering procedures, as well as any specific site procedures, or
requirements.

Working
with the Contractor Safety resources to develop and implement the Site
Contractor Safety Management Process.

Assisting
with the development & execution of small capital projects.

Assisting
the maintenance organization with developing their site contracting strategy.

Reviewing
the scopes of work as needed before procurement begins– particularly service
scopes versus capital/project scopes.

Conducting
or Co-Chairing with Sourcing all site bid meetings, as well as assisting with
bid analysis as appropriate.

Maintaining
yearly qualification of contractors is complete and up to date.

Managing
the site Safety Variance process.

Addressing business requests and coordinating resources to
meet site engineering needs, which includes safely managing and staffing
contract construction and design resources at Beaumont.

Serving as the Site Asbestos Contact – Issue annual asbestos
O&M form to Texas Department of State Health Services, pay annual bill,
keep asbestos removal log, schedule annual asbestos survey, and be point person
for asbestos issues.

Qualifications

To be considered

qualified for this role you most possess the following:
A
minimum of a BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical).

At
least 5 years of experience working in a Chemical or Hazardous manufacturing
environment.

A basic understanding of broad contract
administration concepts including: Types of contracts, Internal controls
applications, Areas of risk, audit points, division of
responsibilities/authorities, and appropriate/ethical business practices.

Experience assisting with the development
& execution of capital improvement projects.

Working
knowledge of Nexus & SAP.

Previous
contract administration related experience in order to be able to perform the
Field Contract Administrator’s job as needed.

Ability
to perform tasks such as climbing stairs, towers, scaffolds, wearing a
respirator, and other protective equipment as required.
