GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- The Cardiology Site Manager is responsible for the overall clinical operations, development and operation of SCRI cardiology sites.
Oversees and manages day-to-day activities of research nurses
Assist with the process of training new research nurses
Assesses available research nurse resources and facilitates those resources
Problem solves clinical situations along with research nurses as they arise
Assesses and works with research nurses to ensure compliance
Assists in development and tracking of quarterly goals for each research nurse
Works closely with monitors, study managers and nurses to ensure quality study data
Responsible for oversight of research site operations
Meets with physicians and administrators as needed to assess performance of site
Supports strategic and tactical plans for site growth
Monitors patient enrollment at sites through weekly reports
Communicates site status through a weekly activity report to appropriate site/management personnel
Representation of company vision to site employees and affiliated organizations
Substitutes and assists with ongoing research at sites as needed
Responsible for individual site goals, financial performance, quality assurance, oversight and contracted patient enrollment
Communicates to all sites performance standards and expectations
Assists directors to ensure continuing education and training to investigators and research nurses
Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement"
During your employment with SCRI you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES -
This position requires the following minimal requirements:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of organizational policies, standard operating procedures, and systems.
Excellent computer skills
Public presentation skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Five years cardiology experience
Four (4) years experience in a research setting.
Three years management experience
Or equivalent experience
Current state RN licensure
Research certification (ACRP or CCRP) preferred
