TITLE:
Full-Time Uniform Site Supervisor
40 hours/ week
1st Shift (Must have ability to fill in on all shifts)

SCOPE:
Uniform Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall security operations of both the Guardhouse and Security Control Center and the supervision and leadership of 15-25 assigned Security Officers/ Control Center Operators. The Uniform Site Supervisor is responsible contributing to the overall goals and direction of our clients and the organization as a whole.

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work 40 hours per week in a billable, uniform or control center capacity.
Must provide excellent customer service when dealing with Clients, Customers, Co-Workers, etc.
Demonstrated leadership/mentorship experience is a must.
Direct, supervise, and manage subordinates in the execution of appropriate strategies, consistent with law, Client and Company policy, and accepted security standards that maintain a safe, secure and orderly decorum in support of the stated organizational mission.
Must work hand-in-hand with our clients and contribute to the overall direction and mission of the organization; and to ensure all expectations and client goals are being met.
Perform training for all assigned officers and ensure they are appropriately and thoroughly carrying out all duties outlined in the site's post guidelines.
Responsible for the appearance, grooming and physical image of all uniform security employees assigned to site. All officers must be in proper uniform at all times. If officers arrive without proper uniform, supervisor is responsible for documenting and following DK's HR discipline policies.
Maintain updated post guidelines for the security operations of the site and meet with client and operations manager regularly to jointly review and update guidelines.
Utilize and Administrate relevant security systems including (but not limited to) the following:
Alarm Monitoring
Access Control
CCTV
Maintain regular communication with the designated client contact, follow through with client requests and keep site supervisor and operations manager updated as to client communication.
Report problems with and request additional uniforms on behalf of line officers to the appropriate operations manager.
Assist in scheduling all security officer shifts 3 weeks in advance and without overtime (unless previously approved by operations manager.)
Determine if scheduling can accommodate time off requests and approve time off as appropriate.
Understand and implement DK's GIFTS program with all officers assigned to site.
Accurately complete and submit all payroll data within Company established timelines.
Implement progressive disciplinary actions for subordinate violations of Company or Client Policy as necessary, in strict accordance with established company policy after consultation and direction from Human Resources. No employee will be disciplined, suspended or discharged without consultation and input from the Operations Manager and Human Resources (who will in return ensure all other appropriate parties are informed.)
Complete objective, performance based, written appraisals of subordinates based on published Post Order or Position Descriptions of subordinates within 14 days of their anniversary date.
Review all written incident reports generated by assigned personnel. Such review shall insure that the report accurately and concisely documents all incidents/accidents that occur on property owned, controlled or maintained by the client and have been submitted in the proper format within 48 hours.
Maintain an inventory of and report problems associated with all DK owned equipment assigned to site.
Be available at all times to receive calls from subordinates with site questions while the officers are on duty and to handle scheduling issues (sick employees) and make necessary changes. The assistant supervisor is responsible for filling all shifts with the assistance of the Site Supervisor and Operations Manager.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be of good moral character, with no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for criminal sexual conduct or related offenses, theft, assault, or crimes of moral turpitude, is required.
Must have impeccable grooming.
Must possess above average customer service skills and be an excellent communicator to ensure management and client communication is passed on effectively to all DK staff members.
Must have a clean driving record.
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
Must have proven ability to handle conflict effectively.
2 years of experience as a uniform security officer preferred.
Must present a friendly, positive, professional image to Clients, employees, supervisors, managers, and the general public.
Experience with scheduling is preferred.
Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills and the ability to solve problems and de-escalate situations in a non-confrontational manner. These include the ability to read and write the English language and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions and reports.
Must have the ability to multi-task.
Must possess the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division as a minimum.
Must possess excellent computer skills; specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Must have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation.
Must have the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and navigate stairs.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
