Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement, the Six-Sigma Black Belt/Lean Leader will lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects . A proven Change Agent, the successful candidate will employ world-class Six-Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive Process Improvement and Cost-Reduction. In addition, the candidate will provide leadership and mentorship to other business associates, in order to foster the Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization.
- Serve as Change Agent by partnering with Leaders to challenge conventional thinking and to implement strategies to drive out Waste and Process Variation
- Achieve Cost Reduction Target with regular updates to Management. This involves working with Finance to validate all benefits.
- Foster Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization, by mentoring and assisting other team members and by sharing Best Practices
- Provide oversight for all projects and conduct timely progress communications to all stakeholders
Minimum of two years of full-time Black Belt experience.
Lean experience in Operational and Transactional spaces
Certified DMAIC Black Belt and Lean Leader, with theoretical and practical expertise in all relevant Lean and Six-Sigma tools and methodologies
Proven Change Agent, with demonstrated abilities and successes in influencing and in motivating at all levels of the organization
Expertise and experience in Project Management, Problem Solving and Team Development
Expert-level communication (presentation, verbal, written) skills-set
Strong analytical skills and high level of proficiency with Minitab or equivalent Statistical package
High level of proficiency with all Microsoft SW’s (Project, Excel, Visio, PP…)
