The ideal candidate for this role will work within Emerging Platforms, consulting to specific accounts on social media strategy and creative concept development.
Serve as an evangelist for social media thinking across all of R/GA.
The candidate will develop R/GA’s POV with regards to social design, social computing, and social media campaigns. This would require the candidate to develop presentations, develop partnerships with vendors in this space and to provide thought leadership and drive innovation across the various R/GA accounts.
Identify social media opportunities with existing and prospective clients and to cultivate those opportunities into new business.
Work directly with select account(s) to develop strategies for taking a clients brand into social media environments, as well as broader thinking on making a client’s brand “more social”.
Bring subject matter expertise to all R/GA accounts, understanding of relevant social platforms and vendors.
Responsible for providing strong conceptual and strategic direction and clearly presenting those ideas to the team and the client.
Ensure the quality of the concept and work produced by R/GA is of high standards. Ensure ‘flawless execution’ of all client deliverables.
The ideal candidate must have an unwavering desire to drive innovation at R/GA with regards to Social Media
6-8 years developing interactive applications and /or social media design.
Must be able to work in a multi-discipline collaborative environment. The candidate must have a deep knowledge of social media technologies, platforms and services.
Team management and client facing experience a must.
Extremely strong leader with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
Undergraduate degree in advertising, marketing, communication design, interaction design, HCI, and/or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
