Hours: Child Advocacy Center 16 hrs/wk, Tues & Thurs 8am-4:30pm
- Job Summary:
Provides Clinical Social Work Services to patients and families in the Child Advocacy Center (CAC). Services include expert psychosocial assessment interviews for children and adolescents with allegations of child abuse and crisis intervention for the children, adolescents, and their families seen in the CAC. Collaborates with the CAC team and community resources including child protective services and police. Provides Social Work Services to outpatient clinics, inpatient units and emergency department. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary health care team to provide family centered care and appropriate follow up with community resources.
Licensed Social Worker with Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited Social Work Academic Program. Ohio Licensed Independent Social Worker licensure preferred (will consider LSW). Requires prior social work clinical experience with children and families coping with child abuse and neglect, chronic illness and health emergencies. Must have strong clinical skills and work well with patient care teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
