Bachelor's degree in Social work or Human Services related field. Sign-on bonus provided for candidates with Child Welfare Training Institute (CWTI) certification. All applicants must have at least one year experience working in a child welfare organization or agency that provides servivces to children and families.
Provide social work and case management services for children and families involved in the Foster Care system. Case Management services to be provided in accordance with all applicable contractual and regulatory requirements and accerditation standards. Service area includes Port Huron, St. Clair & Sanilac Counties.
Provide a range of case management services, including community resource referrals, court testimony, home visits, and development of behavior/treatment plans. Participate in team meetings and individual supervision Timely submission of all reports, thouroughly documenting services, as required by the Department of Human Services (DHS). Assume primary responsibilities of all cases assigned.
Ability to work within the Mission Statement of the organization; "Serving people as an Expression of the love of Christ". Satisfactory outcome outcome related to verification of criminal background clearance, protective services clearance and Sex Offender Registry check. Satisfactory drug screen test results; Valid driver license, proof of insurance and reliable ongoing personal transportation.
