Synteras is hiring bright and talented requirements analysts to support DEA’s SharePoint develop unit. Our engineers support cutting-edge applications that directly enable DEA to pursue its mission goals, and the Requirements Analyst role supports these teams.

The successful candidate will assist DEA in developing requirements for an integrated set of workflow, document management, and collaboration capabilities. The candidate should have experience working with SIPRNET environments, and in working with intelligence organizations. In addition, they will be well-versed in SharePoint 2010’s feature set, and will be able to map the customer’s needs into specific feature areas of SharePoint that can support those needs.



Secret Clearance Required

U.S. Citizen

5 years’ experience in IT positions

At least 3 years’ experience as either a technical writer or requirements analyst with SharePoint background

We are looking for more than a set of writing skills - we are interested in your experiences, talents, interests, and enthusiasm for the craftsmanship and development aspects of producing high-quality software requirements and technical documentation. Our analysts work directly with clients to create, document, refine, and elicit requirements for software development projects. They create and edit user stories, acceptance criteria, software requirements specifications, operational procedures, system manuals (for end users and administrators), system architecture documents, risk plans, release notes, test results, and other SDLC and operational documentation. They also create meeting minutes, and assist project managers with other project and contract deliverables.

Current openings are for people with top-notch experience as requirements analysts and technical writers supporting SharePoint 2010 development teams. Successful candidates must be able to interface with clients, and to provide briefings, training, and supporting documentation when required.
