In this exciting role, you will be primarily responsible for the development, implementation and execution of varied technical, process and operations projects utilizing Agile project management methodologies. The major responsibilities of this position are to help plan, coordinate and continuously improve key aspects of the software development lifecycle including scheduling, planning, tracking and executing project plans from start to completion. A critical element of the role is to form successful and cooperative relationships among participating functional organizations. Keys to success in this role will be excellent communication and listening skills; and implementation of smaller, short-term goals with an eye toward long-term solutions. Candidate must be able to balance varied duties in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and adapt readily to changes.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
•Support the development organization by leading and/or facilitating cross-functional team activities
•Facilitate communication between the cross-functional teams and the larger organization
•Help manage planning, scheduling and tracking for cross-functional teams
•Establish, improve and maintain software engineering lifecycle processes utilizing standard project management tools and methodologies such as those embodied in Agile
•Identify focus areas, recommend and implement strategies
•Manage other projects as needs arise
•2+ project management experience in a product development environment (engineering, IT, medical devices, pharmaceuticals) of which at least 1 must be utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies
•Experience working with global/virtual teams
•Comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle
•Comprehensive understanding of SDLC
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills
•Excellent presentation skills
•Excellent teamwork and teambuilding skills
•Ability to work across organizational levels and with both technical and functional staff
•Ability to excel in a dynamic and challenging environment
•Proficiency in a range of desktop tools and applications including Microsoft Project
•Competency in website/wiki development skills
•Experience in a global high technology company managing the release of software, hardware or collaboration products where development/release cycles are in the range of 12-24 months
•PMP certification
•Scrum/Agile training/certification
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (computer science, engineering or related degree preferred)
• Scrum/Agile training/experience preferred
• PMP certification preferred
Other Qualifications:
Candidate must have a disciplined approach to his/her work and must be proactive in implementing preventive procedures to ensure continuous quality support to the business. This role will require extensive communication with staff throughout the global organization. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of an integrated team. The position may require off-hours work in order to support our non-US locations. The ideal candidate will be independent, flexible, and willing to take on a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities without significant supervision.
