The Role: Test Internship/Co-op
As an Intern for our QA and Test Automation team, you will be working with some of the hardest and most exciting problems in systems testing and debugging failures. This will be a paid summer internship or co-op position with flexible start and ending dates.
You will be:
Executing and writing manual and automated tests to find bugs.
Working closely with development engineers to analyze and find root cause of failures
Filing bugs and tracking them to closure

Be graduating with a BS in CS or EE in 2014. Exceptional Freshman or Sophomores with strong Linux Sys Admin and/or coding skills will be considered as well.
Have taken at least one course in Data Structures and at least one course in Operating Systems.
Strong systems administration experience in UNIX, preferably Linux
Genuine interest in QA
Ideally you have:
Understanding of fundamental file system concepts and protocols such as: disk partitions, networked filesystems, logical volumes, journaled filesystems and block devices.
Experience using virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Xen. VMware is preferred.
Experience testing a “systems” product (file systems, storage systems, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, or networking).
Experience developing software in one of the following programming languages: Python/Perl/C/C++/Java.
