Hanger, Inc. (HGR), a leader in the healthcare field of Orthotics and Prosthetics has an opening for a Systems Analyst to support their Enterprise Practice Management (PM) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions. This is a professional position with primary responsibilities for the planning, development, deployment, and support of automated solutions using Microsoft Development tools such as .Net, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.
Responsible for developing and maintaining integration points between Hanger’s Enterprise Practice Management system and a new RCM environment
Assist with the implementation and support of an Enterprise Managed File transfer solution
Provide automation and troubleshooting support for electronic claims system.
Develop and support internally developed tools/databases that support the RCM process.
Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle(SDLC), from design, development and testing through deployment and support
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions wherever possible
Work with Operations team to implement new or improved work processes to increase quality and efficiency
Provide timely reporting to management regarding production issues and trends
Utilize Microsoft and Sybase tools to support/enhance Hanger’s EDI Environment
Interface with Operations and vendors to resolve support-related issues
Interface with middle management and internal business units to ensure that the department supports the organization’s strategic goals and business needs
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
Ability to complete multiple simultaneous projects in a timely manner
3+ years developing solutions in a Microsoft environment.
Experience with T-SQL, SQL Server Stored Procedures, SQL Server Reporting Services, SSIS Development, SQL Server 2005 and above
Experience with .NET and Visual Studio
Familiar with XML/X12 and HIPAA EDI (5010) Standards
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated experience leading several full life cycle implementations with an understanding of all aspects of an implementation project including, but not limited to, planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, conversions, system testing, cutover and production support
Must organize/prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a small-team member.
Must be able to function independently, or as a team member, and have superiod communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience developing Healthcare EDI translation maps (using Sybase toolset, or similar)
Experience with NextGen PM/EHR
Familiarity with ITIL is desired
Healthcare systems (Revenue Cycle Management, Practice Management, Outcomes Assessment)
Strong PC skills with a working knowledge Microsoft Office suite, with strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
B.S. or B.A. in business or information systems; professional certification in healthcare EDI preferred. Relevant experience with non-analytical degree or equivalent professional training may be substituted.
