Software Engineer Intern - Quality
Interact with Product Managers and Engineers to learn about new features via documentation, reviews and programming interfaces.
Write/Review test scenarios, test plans, test scripts and test cases for content, coverage, and adherence to department standards.
Execute test scenarios, plans, scripts and cases to validate software releases.
Thoroughly research and report issues into tracking database and maintain daily communication with team members via bug documentation, status reports, etc.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and capabilities:
Last Semester/Quarter Junior OR Senior enrolled in BS/BA degree or equivalent
Write and track defect reports through the defect database system
Basic SQL, ability to formulate queries
Strong commitment to quality including automated tests and code reviews
Problem solving and troubleshooting ability
You get bonus points for having:
Working knowledge of testing methodologies, testing tools and SDLC
Java and JUnit experience
