Software Engineer Intern - Server

Primary responsibilities:
Server side java development: servlets, filters, REST API, etc.

Rapid development methodologies: SCRUM, Agile

SQL (Postgres)

Unit testing with JUnit

Minimum requirements:
Last Semester/Quarter Junior OR Senior enrolled in CS or Electrical Engineering

Server side java development for course projects

Understanding of web application architecture

Basic SQL knowledge, ability to understand associations and formulate queries

Strong commitment to quality including JUnit automated tests and code reviews

Desired skills and experience:
Familiarity with Linux

Familiarity of Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra a plus

Functional programming experience
