To help lead this effort, Microsoft is combining its video advertising solutions, MSN/MSNBC Online and Mobile Video, the Microsoft Video Ad Network, and Xbox Video products into a single video offering. This will allow Microsoft to provide clients digital video at an effective rate as well as leading edge measurement and analytics.
The Video Solutions Sales Specialist will collaborate with our Generalist Sales organization to drive strategic creative solutions for advertisers across all verticals. To succeed in this role, the individual will bring a passion, creativity, and the ability to effectively communicate the vision and benefits of new advertising systems and solutions. Strong presentations skills, cross-group collaboration, thought leadership, and consultative sales skills are all critical.
•A minimum of 8 years buying or selling TV and or digital advertising
•BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university or a minimum of 12 years relevant experience
•Experience working across industries and interfacing effectively with internal and external resources
•Understanding online video marketplace, TV advertising nomenclature and TV process including planning and buying as well as other, related channels such as Mobile
•Strategic, results-oriented thinker with clear and confident written and oral communication skills
•Infectious passion for digital products and emerging trends
•Established relationships with or experience in dealing with large national agencies and advertisers
•Strong skills in presenting to executive-level contacts and, and demonstrated success in closing new business relationships and exceeding sales goals
•Represent the division and company with integrity and trustworthiness, while persuasively selling the benefits of online advertising and overcoming any objections
•Ability to travel up to 25% regionally and nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry events
