Exciting opportunity at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, an Auberge resort in
Bluffton sc. We are looking for a level 2 sommelier with
dining room management experience in a luxury resort or restaurant
environment. The position reports to the Asst Director of F&B and
will work in conjunction with the beverage manager to oversee an award
winning wine and beverage program. Responsible for wine sales on the
floor of the restaurants primarily working in the RIver House
restaurant and other outlets, special events and private
functions as directed. Will assist on the floor with service and
management of the River House dining room as needed. Responsible for assisting in
the selection purchase receiving and inventory of wine and spirits in
conjunction with the Beverage Manager.
1. High school graduate
2. Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
3. Two years of related hands on experience.
4. Ability to satisfy communication standards in English with guests, management, and
co-workers to their understanding.
5. Three years experience as a Sommelier.
