WORK DAY/YEAR: 6.5 hours per day; Approximately 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
SALARY: Minimum $13.32 per hour
This is a specific job working with students with behavior disorders under the direction of the teacher.
Performs tasks within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum requirement of two years of college (48 semester credits), a two-year degree, or completion of the Para Pro Assessment. (Please include transcript with application.)
Experience in behavior management techniques.
Ability to assist EBD students with curriculum.
Data collection skills.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Training or willingness to be trained in nonviolent crisis intervention techniques including physical controls.
Physical requirements: must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Stooping and bending required.
