2. Valid Food Handler's Certificate
3. Valid First Aide and CPR Certificates

In accordance with Board Policy BP 4111 (Personnel) and Personnel Commission Rule 40.100; the Board of Trustees desires to employ the most highly qualified and appropriate person available for each position in order to improve student achievement and efficiency in district operations.

MUST PASS THE DISTRICT WRITTEN EXAM AND ORAL QUALIFICATIONS APPRAISAL - Applicants that pass the initial screening will be notified of the examination date.The written exam will cover childcare, first aid, lifting, food safety, wheel chair functions and interpersonal relationships. The minimum score for the written exam and the oral appraisal is 80%. The written exam and the oral appraisal will each count for 50% of the total score.

This position is part of the California School Employees Association (CSEA) bargaining unit.

Applicants selected for hire must have livescan clearance from the Department of Justice and the FBI.

After a conditional offer of employment, applicants will be required to pay the cost of all pre-employment processing which may include: physical examinations, drug/alcohol screening, TB clearance and fingerprinting.
