This position will serve as the data and reporting specialist for the corporate EHS department. Responsibilities will include deployment and support of the corporate incident management system, development and reporting of internal performance measures, support of external reporting requirements, internal audit support, external inspection support, compliance document management, general data integrity and departmental systems integration. This position will assist in the selection and deployment of a new corporate incident and compliance management solution and will also serve as the subject matter expert for all business support and training issues related to that system. This position will also be the primary liaison for all information technology related projects for the department.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Deploy, configure, administer and support the corporate incident and compliance management system.
-Develop and maintain standardized internal performance metrics.
-Assist with external reporting for various permitting and compliance requirements.
-Assist with internal and external audits and inspections.
-Ensure department systems are integrated correctly with other corporate systems.
-Ensure data integrity for all department databases.
-Provide monthly, quarterly and annual departmental reporting.
-Perform ad hoc reporting as requested.
-Provide general technical assistance for all department projects and tasks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
-Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
-Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines.
-Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers and external contacts.
-Thorough understanding of data collection and data management techniques.
-Basic understanding of regulatory processes and reporting. Preferably with PHMSA, OSHA, DOT, environmental or similar.
-Advanced software and computer skills related to system management.
-Experience with software deployment projects is preferred.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-Bachelors degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Environment Health and Safety, Business Management, or similar field.
-3+ years of system/software administration experience
-Experience working in a compliance or regulatory environment.
-Oil and gas pipeline experience is preferred.
