Manages large complex network projects using approved project management methodologies.
Responsible for planning, execution and completion of assigned projects. Typically manages one large project at a time. Manages both internal and external resources. Interfaces with all levels of management. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years progressive project management experience preferred.
Contract Management- Process, draft and negotiate Interconnection and Transport facility contracts to meet regional, multi-area and national needs in order to support the Network organization’s strategic infrastructure, including contracts for network expansion and growth.
Review network contract requests and recommend appropriate methods for review and approval. Prepare and issue internal approval documents, as well as contracts for execution. Identify and implement improvements to the contract and tracking processes.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree
5+ years of progressive project management experience
2 years work experience with database systems
Strong Project Management experience
Experience in planning, forecasting and financial analysis
Understanding of fixed assets, retirement, depreciation and general accounting
Strong knowledge of the wireless industry and cellular equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word)
Proficient in PeopleSoft Inventory and Fixed Asset Modules
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle highly complex technical agreements and contentious issues
Strong negotiation skills
Responsible for communicating effectively at all levels
Individual contributor who utilizes discretion and independent judgment in the completion of tasks; leads small functional groups (typically 5 to 15 employees). Highly autonomous.
