Position is responsible for administering speech/language and dysphagia diagnostic and treatment services to patients, and maintaining appropriate records. Position will be responsible for observing and evaluating treatment effect and results and to discuss them with the patient, family, team and management. The therapists will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities. Position provides age specific direct patient care according to the unit's scope of service.
Available to work 2 shifts/16 hours per month and 2 weekend shifts in 12 weeks. Therapist will be required to work either a) 1 major holiday & at least 1 minor holiday or b) entire week of Spring Break and at least 1 minor holiday. - $39.57/hr.
Experience Requirements :
No experience required. Prefer completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with experience in a relevant area of Speech Pathology.
Select Education Type :
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements :
Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) by the NC Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
