currently searching for part-time Speech Therapist to join
our established team. The SpeechTherapist will be responsible for
providing speech-language therapy services as indicated in
the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and serve as a member of the
multidisciplinary/behavioral team. The Speech Therapist will promote
the development of communication skills through assessment, program
planning and direct service. In addition, the Speech Therapist will
provide clinical guidance and consultation to therapists, behavioral
team and families.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy or
related field, and a valid Speech and Language
Therapist License/Certification in the State of Alaska.
Must be able to demonstrate a
comprehensive knowledge of the field of Speech and
Language therapy; possess
knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition,
and grammar; and have
strong interpersonal and communication skills.
