Vidant Medical Center is a 900+ bed Level I Trauma Center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health. We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Medical Center provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.4 million people in 29 counties.
We are seeking the following:
Vidant Medical Center
Responsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/ rehabilitative services to patients referred for services and maintaining records pertinent to such services
Observes, evaluates and documents diagnostic and treatment effects
Consults with supervisor on all pertinent matters for program and professional development (i.e. research projects, expansion of programs, record keeping, policies and procedures, etc.)
Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate
Graduation from a Master†s degree of Science or Master†s degree of Arts Program in Speech-Language Pathology, North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology awarded by ASHA
Progressive and dynamic knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology and a willingness to participate in continuing education and training to remain current in the field. Ability to work with other healthcare professionals in a manner that will ensure continued cooperative efforts.
