Skidmore College seeks an assistant for the office of Sports Information for the 2012-2013 school year. Skidmore is an NCAA Division III school with 19 varsity sports and is a member of the Liberty League. The College is located in the resort city of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
This full-time 5 month temporary position consists of assisting with the day-to-day operation of Skidmore's sports information office. Duties may include: writing releases, compiling in-game statistics with Stat Crew, helping to maintain the school's athletic Web site, and assisting with game management for home events.
Bachelor's degree and previous experience in a sports information office required . Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photo Shop, basic photography, and Stat Crew are essential.
