Senior Architect support for IT Infrastructure
Needs TS/SCI (no poly)
Candidate will provide senior architect IT Infrastructure support for a top secret facility. Responsibilities will include architecture and administration for over 100 servers, both physical and virtual running Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems. This includes the architecture and administration of enterprise application services like MS Exchange, SharePoint, Lync and proprietary Government Off the Shelf security applications. Additionally, the candidate will architecture and administer centralized storage and work closely with the network and security teams to support the above.
The candidate must have senior architecture and administration skills for both Windows and Unix servers. Also, the candidate should have senior VMWare skills and understand how to install, allocate and management NetApp storage arrays. Finally, the candidate should have a keen understanding of networking and security which include PKI security authentication.
We are looking for senior a candidate that can provide leadership and direction for the implementation of the latest, best in class, IT infrastructure technologies, and have a burning desire to continue learning new technology. Followers need not apply! Must be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with senior management.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with and in the following:
Server architecture and administration for both Windows and Unix/Linux. Windows 2003-08 server and XP 7 workstation platforms, Redhat Linux Senior architecture skills for Active Directory (AD) and group policy management (i.e. beyond basic AD administrator skills) Thorough understanding of Microsoft SCCM and software package deployment Microsoft Exchange architecture and administration skills. Must understand how to architect Exchange in a multi-server, multi-location, clustered and redundant environment. Senior VMWare architecture and administration skills. Ability to install, configure, allocate and support NetApp centralized storage. Must understand managing an IT infrastructure in a Top Secret environment. Must understand encryption techniques and security authentication protocols which include PKI. Must have a solid understanding of networks and firewalls and the impact to servers and services running on the network.
