Ph.D. in Biostatistics / Statistics.
Responsible for the design and execution of complex statistical analysis. This includes formulation of statistical hypothesis, sample size projection, choice of methodology, computing, and preparation of manuscripts.
This is a pay grade AP13 in the A&P Salary Plan.
. Will interact with a number of well-funded investigators conducting comparative effectiveness research.
. Will work with and help mentor pre- and post-doctoral students in their analyses
. Collaborate with investigators to identify problems and provide statistical consultation including:
. Perform statistical computations
- Design of experiments or surveys
- Data analysis
- Interpretation of results and preparation of reports
. Provide graphical and tabular representations
Ph.D. or Dr. P.H. in Biostatistics or related field.
. Good communication and presentation skills
. Good organizatonal skills
. SAS including SAS IML and MARCO
. Use of ML, wiN, HLM or Winbug
. Multi-leveling modeling
. Instrumental variable analysis
. Longitudinal data analysis
. Management and analysis of health insurance claims data
