Job description


Accomplished Immunohistochemist who will make substantial contributions to the conception, execution and communication of novel multi-disciplinary research strategies in Immunology drug discovery programs in a highly collaborative environment. The successful candidate will w

ork in a group providing research in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, and in performing molecular and toxicologic pathology in pharmacology and exploratory safety studies.

A primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to develop new Imaging techniques that will impact all aspects of the group responsibilities, generating high-quality, stage-gate appropriate data packages supporting compound transitions. Work with pathologists to design and validate image analysis endpoints for efficacy and toxicology models.

Develop image analysis methods to quantitate therapeutic antibodies in tissues. It is expected that the candidate will utilize his/her expertise to generate external collaborations with key opinion leaders to identify opportunities for novel technologies





PhD or equivalent in Immunology or related field with significant research experience in Imaging techniques as demonstrated by track record of publications and scientific accomplishments. Strong scientific expertise in Confocal microscopy and other Imaging techniques is required. Experience in both biologic and small molecule therapeutic research a plus. Proven ability to lead in a highly collaborative environment. Highly developed leadership and communication skills and keen ability to engage external scientific leaders in collaborative research.

Education Requirements

BS & 12-16 years of experience; MS & 10-14 years of experience; PhD and 4-10 years of experience. Required to ensure that incumbent has necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to do the job.

Continuous standing for prolonged periods ( more than 2 consecutive houres in an 8 hour day), Routine work with chemicals
