Senior Integration Developer

The Senior Integration Developer role is responsible for providing both technical and functional leadership in support of large scale service and application integration efforts within the organization.

Summary of Key Responsibilities :
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming, unit testing, and documentation of business processes, integrations, and services within an Agile development environment
  • Develop integration specifications and designs which are scalable, extensible, maintainable and testable
  • Identify and learn appropriate software applications and systems used and supported by the organization and facilitate their integration.
  • Effectively communicate problems and issues to key stakeholders, including IT management, development team and end users
  • Help others in the organization with integration concepts at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function
  • Ability to gather, define and document integration requirements. Balance user requirements, system constraints, and project schedules to define the optimal business solution for Coinstar
  • Successfully lead integration development projects. Ensure the effective and efficient use of project members through clearly defined tasks and timely project communications
  • Ability to identify potential project risks and issues before they occur
  • Ability to work within defined processes and help identify new ways to improve processes
  • Develop integration specifications and designs which are scalable, extensible, maintainable and testable
  • Provide responsive user training and support as required
  • Document applications clearly, completely, concisely, and in accordance with prevailing documentation standards
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other staff members
Qualifications & Experience :
  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer
  • 5+ years experience developing SOA Solutions on a message-oriented-middleware platform (MOM), such as: Tibco, Oracle, BEA, or other integration suite
  • Extensive XML experience
  • Understanding of a broad range of integration standards, SOA technologies, and message exchange patterns
  • Capacity to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Business analysis and business process understanding
  • Effective technical writing and documentation skills
  • Strong organization and communications skills; must clearly communicate technical issues and resolutions to key stakeholders, both orally as well as in writing
  • Demonstrated expertise in J2EE, JMS, Web Services, SOAP/JSON, XML/XSL, XSLT, Java, and object oriented concepts
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Software AG Integration suite, including CentraSite, Mediator, Trading Networks…etc. highly desirable
  • Experience integrating into an SAP environment a plus
