Accelerate your career as you help reinvent the value and impact of information for business everywhere At EMC we are leading customers on their journey to cloud computing by enabling them to store manage protect and analyze their information assets in a more agile trusted and costeffective way If you are passionate about technology and want to be part of the information management revolution join more than 50000+ EMCers around the world who are leading the journey to the cloud EMC Backup Recovery Systems is one of the fastest growing divisions in EMC and is recognized industrywide for innovation EMC backup recovery and archive products increase performance efficiency and business agility using deduplication and other advanced capabilities Customers are able to accelerate IT transformation with flexible solutions designed to meet the new demands of virtualization cloud and big data Our product portfolio includes EMC Data Domain deduplication storage systems EMC Avamar deduplication software and systems NetWorker backup and recovery software and Mozy the most trusted online backup service for consumers and businesses We have an immediate need for a Product Marketing Manager to drive demand and build preference for mainframe storage products for BRS In this role you will focus primarily on outbound strategy and activities including product launches messaging and asset development for thought leadership and lead generation as well as collateral and enablement of both the BRS specialty and EMC core sales teams This is a highly visible role that requires strong writing verbal messaging and strategy skills You will need to be able to maintain the integrity of the product marketing function and be a team player who can meet the overall goals set by the company marketing and sales The experience and skills that would make you a great fit Mainframe Storage Industry experience is required must have experience in a product marketing role and knowledge of channels and gotomarket strategies in this industry Experience andor knowledge of data protection systems software and services a plus Experience working with customers technology and channel partners–must be able to develop relationships with internal stakeholders (marketing engineering and sales) and to clearly communicate complex technical and market issues to a variety of audiences Demonstrated ability to drive a complex set of tactical and strategic objectives and overcome ambiguous and fast moving challenges Ability to interface with all levels of customer organizations press and industry analysts Exceptional written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate complex topics in clear easytounderstand terms along with the ability to develop compelling content for a wide variety of salescustomer tools BSBA degree MBA a plus mainframe storage
